Followed by the grand success of Dasavatharam, K.S Ravikumar is ready to gear up with his ‘Jakkubhai‘. With pre production works and selection of exotic locations in the world being done, shooting for the film will start tomorrow. R. Radhika Sarath Kumar produces the film under the banner of Raadan Media Works.
R.D.Rajashekar takes care of camera works for the film while Rafique scores music. Don James will choreograph stunts and rest of the cast and crew would be soon announced.
Sources close to the unit have revealed that major portion of the film will shot in foreign locations. The film is centered on father-daughter relationship narrated in a gripping-thriller way.

The Sarath Kumar,Shriya starrer will retain the title Jaggubhai. According to director K.S Ravikumar, the team will not opt for a name change. The movie will retain the name Jaggubhai only.
The story of Jaggu Bhai is based on a father-daughter relationship, and will have Shriya playing Sarath Kumar’s daughter. Who will play the role of Sarath’s wife and Shriya’s mom still remains a mystery, which several actress being approched for the role. No actress is ready to be Shirya’s mom and even if some actress consider the role, they are asking for huge amount. Sneha, Simran, Padmapriya, Vimala Raman and Tabu have been considered for this role.
Jaggubhai script was originally planned with Superstar Rajinikanth in mind, but the project was later dropped for reasons unknown. Rajini then went on to team up with P. Vasu for ‘Chandramukhi’ which became a blockbuster hit. His current Kuselan is eagarly looked forward movie by all superstar fans.
According to Sarath ‘1977′ is an action-packed movie with a strong message for the society. I was impressed when I heard the storyline and readily agreed to do the movie’ he said.
Actor Sarath Kumar was recently shooting for his new film 1977 with debutant director G.N.Dinesh Kumar.The film has Sarath Kumar cast in double roles. He plays father and son in this action-packed film.Plans are on to release ‘1977′ in April, 2008.
