Silambarasan is never tired of trying out new things! The actor is presently busy with his dream project Silambattam. According to our sources, Silambarasan has roped in a Mumbai model Rachana Maurya for a dance sequence.

The dance was choreographed with about 30 Mumbai and 120 Chennai models apart from Silambarasan and Rachana Maurya.

Apparently Rachana was paid Rs. 5 lakhs to shake her leg in this song. According to producers K. Muralidharan and Swaminathan, the song was shot at a budget of Rs. 70 lakhs

Silambarasan is busy with stage show in world tour

Silambarasan is a busy man these days. Kaalai might have been a bit of a disappointment but he has left that behind and is now getting ready to trot the globe and celebrate 75 years of Tamil cinema along with a few of his co-stars.

The first stop is going to be London, on the 25th of this month and two days later he will be performing in Canada. Accompanying him will be Kadhal Sandhya and current rapping sensation, Yogi B, whose Polladhavan deeds have gained him a few fans. The show that this trio will put up is sure going to be a treat to watch.

Upon his return from this world tour, Silambarasan is going to be aiming even higher. Yes, he will have Kettavan and Silambattam at various stages of progression but he will also be simultaneously taking his first step into Bollywood.

The surprise element here is that he will be not be debuting there as an actor but as a director. He is armed with a bankable script, that of Manmadhan and is reportedly considering the cast for the movie.

So, 2008 is going to be pretty hectic for Silambarasan and we wish him all the best for his projects, especially his Bollywood dream.

Silambarasan's Silambattam is shaping up well

Silambarasan's Silambattam is shaping up well and the actor's Kettavan has also been revived. Meanwhile, director Shakthi Chidambaram has approached him with another project touted to be an action flick.

Shakthi, who has two films in the pipeline, one with Raghava Lawrence and another with Sundar C, will be ready for Silambarasan right on time to commence the project, says sources.

And with this project, Silambarasan's desire to pair up with Shriya on screen will be fulfilled!

Accepting the offer, Silambarasan also made a request that Shriya be roped in for the project.

It is said that Shriya also agreed to play the female lead alongside Silambarasan. Gossipmongers also insist that Shriya has slashed her salary considerably to stay in the race.

Rumor spread like anything, Let see the Pair of Actor going to join Simbu and Dhanush

Tamil film industry has always witnessed the presence of two powerful actors at various points of time where there would be a dichotomy of their fan base. Initially it was Sivaji and M.G.R followed by Kamal and Rajini, Ajith and Vijay and many such pairs. Kollywood Actor Simbu’s Next Movie Silambattam

Lakshmi Movie Makers launched their 25th film, Silambattam starring Silambarasan and debutante Sanaa Khan at AVM Studios on December 7. A large gathering of film luminaries attended the function. Silambarasan nee Simbu sported an orthodox Brahmin look and faced the camera along with heroine Sanaa at the Lord Vinayaka temple in the studio complex.

Later addressing the media, the irrepressible actor said in a lighter vein that since people called him a good guy now, he is playing a soft role. He hastens to add that how and why a soft-spoken gentle orthodox youngster turns into a volcano form the crux of the theme.

“It is a positive character in an action entertainer.” He attended the shoot with a bandaged finger. The actor suffered an injury while shooting for his forthcoming film, Kalai.
