Kollywood Actor Dhanush deserve his fans ideas.

Dhanush, the son-in-law of ‘Super Star‘ Rajnikanth whose birthday falls on July 28th celebrated his birthday with his fans recently.

He had advanced his celebrations since he would not be available on the day as he would be in the shooting of Padikadhavan at an outdoor locale. His fans conferred him with the title Junior Superstar. But Dhanush said that he did not deserve this title. He further added that he still haves a long way to go and achieve a lot.

Urging his fans to be more involved in social work, Dhanush said that he thanks all for their support which has helped him achieve laurels in the industry.

Dhanush also made it clear that he would not be working in Tamil remake of Hindi hit Jab We Met, which he felt was similar to Yaradi Nee Mohini.

Dhanush and Tamanna starring Tamil movie Padikathavan’s shooting commenced yesterday.Padikathavan is originally the title of superstar Rajinikant’s yesteryear blockbuster movie.However N.Veerasami, the legal heir of Easwari productions has agreed to the title being used for the new movie starring Rajinikant’s son-in-law Dhanush.

This new “Padikathavan” will be directed by Suraj of Vijaya Productions.Padikathavan has Tamanna and comedian vadivelu in crucial roles.Tamanna is the most sought after actress in kollyood and she is excited about her role in Padikathavan.

Padikathavan means “uneducated man” in Tamil.In the yesteryear blockbuster movie, Rajinikant played the title role.the movie was a big hit then.These days, kollywood seem to be remixing or reusing, everything that was successful in the past.Whether it be music or titles or stories, remix or reuse seem to be the trend in kollywood.The new “Padikathavan” starring Dhanush is in line with this new trend.

It was also a very important day for Dhanush as his other movie with Nayanthara, “Yaaradi Nee Mohini” hit the theatres in TamilNadu.

Danush ready for next movie, waiting for release of forthcoming movie Yaaradi Nee Mohini

Shooting for Dhanush’s next movie is slated to have its shooting get started by the month of March. The film produced by Gemini Labs as Shriya Charan in the female lead role.

Producers of this movie got her sign the project for Rs.75 Lakhs and Devi Shri Prasad is the music director.

Well, with every cast and crew set ready for the film, the most perplexing fact is that director for the movie hasn’t been finalized.

Producers of the film had mailed 5 scripts of different directors to Dhanush and his father. However, his father rejected all the scripts and now Gemini Labs has laid the protocol to father and son for choosing director.Curiously expecting the release of Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Dhanush will have the shooting kick-started by this month end.

Tamil film industry has always witnessed the presence of two powerful actors at various points of time where there would be a dichotomy of their fan base. Initially it was Sivaji and M.G.R followed by Kamal and Rajini, Ajith and Vijay and many such pairs. Though the actors in question have been sharing a perfect bonhomie, it is the fans whose adrenaline levels are always pumped up.

It has been buzzed in the known circles that Prabhu Deva has 3-4 scripts with the right mix of comedy and action based themes. It may be a serious one like Nerukku Ner or a comedy caper like Guru-Sishyan.

Prabhu Deva had reportedly talked to Simbu who has given the green signal indicating that he and Dhanush have always remained friends and he is open to the idea of sharing screen presence with him. However Prabhu Deva is yet to approach Dhanush on this and in the event of this film getting materialized, it will only be after the dancer/director completes Hindi Pokkiri and a Vijay film.

February 14th is confirmed release of Yaaradi Nee Mohini

The right mix of commedy and action is the formula for success says Danush who is basking in the success of Polladhavan which has the formula that he is talking about. His next movie which is Yaaradi Nee Mohini is slated for a romantic Februvary 14th release.

Mithran R Jawahar is directing the movie Yaaradi Nee Mohini with Danush and Nayantara in the lead roles. Jawahar was the assistant of Selvaraghavan. Yaaradi Nee Mohini is a Tamil remake of Telugu film Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule.

Discussing his role in the movie Yaaradi Nee Mohini, the young actor says its a sweet surprise for all his fans who want to see him in a different kind of characters in his movies. If action and commedy are given equal importance in a movie, there is no doubt that the movie will be success says Danush.
