Dhanush and Tamanna starring Tamil movie Padikathavan’s shooting commenced yesterday.Padikathavan is originally the title of superstar Rajinikant’s yesteryear blockbuster movie.However N.Veerasami, the legal heir of Easwari productions has agreed to the title being used for the new movie starring Rajinikant’s son-in-law Dhanush.
This new “Padikathavan” will be directed by Suraj of Vijaya Productions.Padikathavan has Tamanna and comedian vadivelu in crucial roles.Tamanna is the most sought after actress in kollyood and she is excited about her role in Padikathavan.
Padikathavan means “uneducated man” in Tamil.In the yesteryear blockbuster movie, Rajinikant played the title role.the movie was a big hit then.These days, kollywood seem to be remixing or reusing, everything that was successful in the past.Whether it be music or titles or stories, remix or reuse seem to be the trend in kollywood.The new “Padikathavan” starring Dhanush is in line with this new trend.
