Leaping with successful venture of ‘Dasavatharam’, Aascar Ravichandran has shored him back on the production of romance based flick. Earlier, his production of ‘Roja Kootam’ made high waves with new dimension of love story and now with the same hopes of churning one more best romantic film, Ravichandran looks brimmed up with lots of confidence.
Working along with SJ Suryah as assistant director for several films, Andrew Louis starts off with his directorial venture with this film. Andrew Louis himself handles story, screenplay and dialogues too for the film. ‘Leelai’ has whole lot of newcomers both on cast as well in technical team. Satish Chakravarthy had played instruments for various musical scores of A.R.Rahman and with this film; he gets introduced to Tamil Cinema as a music director.
Satish tunes in melodies to the lyrics of Satish Chakravarthy and newcomer Edward would be editing the scenes captured by cinematographer Velraj. Velraj won his reputation for the best cranking of camera for his previous film ‘Polladhavan’ directed by Vetrimaaran.

More excited with his directorial debut, Andrew Louis says that Leelai is a film that will not just entertain the city and multiplex audiences but will take a great lead and win laurels across the village regions too.
The film is about two software engineers working at HCL falling in love and there is something more than romance in the film. Adding more, the director merely says that screenplay will keep the entire audiences adhered to their seats. They will be enjoying their time right from the beginning till the end.
Mumbai based model Shiv has been a part of various television commercial and happened to be the heartthrob of several young girls with his stunning looks. On the pars, here comes a missy named ‘Maansi’ making her debut as female lead actress. Earlier, she worked for modeling as well in commercials for international brands.

Entire film has been shot across the exotic locations of Chennai and Director assures that they have shot across the locations in Chennai where none have tried capturing even single shots. HCL happens to be one of the busiest concerns in Chennai and it was so difficult obtaining permission and shooting major portion of the film over there.
All the songs have been shot across the exotic locations of India where none of the directors have canned even a single sequence for their films. Brinda and Nagendra Prasad have choreographed for all the songs…
