Finally, after shooting for 263 days, Selvaraghavan's Aayirathil Oruvan is complete and the film is now in post production stage.
You have to salute Selva's fiery determination and never say die spirit to complete the film.
Those in the trade who saw some rushes of the film, say it is "spectacular, awesome and an epic". The camera work of Ramji is said to be stunning especially the way he has shot the desert scenes in Jaisalmer and the forests of Kerala.
The film has everything a blockbuster requires- stars, drama, passion, adventure, glamour, songs, action, and lush, never-seen-before locales.
Reema Sen is said to be very glamorous in the film along with Andrea. The film will be a May end, big summer release.
It seems Selva has shot enough footage to have a Aayirathil Oruvan 1 & 2. The Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that the director is exploring the idea to release it like how Hollywood marketed The Lord of the Rings as a trilogy. Kola Bhaskar the editor and the producers have to take a call on it.
